About the Role
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Curtainwall Specialist / Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful delivery of high-performance façade systems, including curtainwall and rainscreen systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with technical knowledge of façade systems and hands-on experience in fabrication and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing curtainwall and rainscreen system projects from design through to installation, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, fabrication teams, and site contractors to ensure seamless integration of curtainwall and rainscreen systems.
Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications, providing input on constructability, material selection, and system performance.
Support quality assurance processes during fabrication and installation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Help manage procurement schedules, material logistics, and subcontractor deliverables to maintain project momentum.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to track project progress and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1+ years of experience working with curtainwall or rainscreen systems in a construction, façade, or engineering environment.
Understanding of fabrication techniques and processes relevant to building envelope components.
Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to coordinate across disciplines.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
Prior experience in an Assistant Project Manager or technical façade role is preferred.
Requirements
Curtainwall Systems Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of curtainwall systems, including their design, installation, and performance in building envelopes.
Assistant Project Management (APM) Skills: Ability to support project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts across multiple curtainwall projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Rainscreen Systems Knowledge: Understanding of rainscreen cladding principles and systems, particularly in relation to moisture management, thermal performance, and integration with curtainwall assemblies.
Fabrication Familiarity: Experience with the fabrication processes of curtainwall and rainscreen components, including reading technical drawings and working with manufacturing teams to ensure quality and precision.
