Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Building Envelope Restoration Specialist with a strong background in façade inspection and restoration. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience assessing and restoring exterior building systems, with a deep understanding of building envelope performance and maintenance. This role involves conducting detailed inspections, preparing technical reports, and coordinating restoration strategies to ensure the long-term integrity of commercial and residential structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive façade inspections, identifying deterioration, structural issues, and maintenance needs in accordance with local regulations and industry best practices.
Evaluate the performance of building envelope components, including cladding, windows, sealants, waterproofing, and thermal systems.
Develop restoration plans, scopes of work, and technical documentation for building façade repairs and upgrades.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to implement restoration solutions that meet aesthetic, structural, and energy efficiency goals.
Monitor restoration projects to ensure quality workmanship, budget adherence, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Prepare detailed inspection and project reports, including photographic documentation, condition
Requirements
Restoration Expertise: Proven knowledge of building restoration techniques, including structural repairs, masonry restoration, and historic façade preservation.
Building Envelope Knowledge: Strong understanding of building envelope systems, including waterproofing, thermal insulation, air/vapor barriers, and their role in overall building performance.
Facade Inspection Experience: Hands-on experience conducting façade inspections, including visual assessments, documentation, and reporting in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
1+ Years of Industry Experience: A minimum of five years of professional experience in façade restoration, building envelope consulting, or related fields, demonstrating technical proficiency and project leadership.
